Deb (Sunshinedeb) was a treasured friend to many.
Paranormal Downunder started back in December 2006 and Deb was here
from the beginning. She became a moderator not long after that.
People came and went over time but not Deb, she loved the site. This site was her
second home, so much so she never really ventured anywhere else, "why
would I??" she once said to us.
Deb lived on a farm near Towner, North Dakota
with her life partner Dean until she passed. She loved her farm and treasured her daughter Angela.
Nothing was too much trouble for Deb, she once travelled to help out a
member of the site who was having problems with spirits.
Sadly, Deb passed away on Friday 17th July 2009 suddenly. This site was her life, her solace on her
not so good days. You will never be forgotten Deb, rest in peace our treasured friend
I met Deb when i was visiting over at another site one day and invited her to come and check out my site i had just started. Deb was such a loving and caring person, if she was your friend, then she was always by your side, ready to stand by you no matter what. I never got the chance to say thankyou to her for her continuous work on the website over the last three years. You just never know when your time is up. The forum will not be the same without her anymore. For those that knew her, she will never be forgotton, for those that didnt have a chance to meet her, you missed a wonderful lady. Deb will be missed greatly and never forgotton. xoxoxo kel Deb you will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Janette IT’S NOT THE END OF THE TRAIL
It’s not the end of the trail for me, I’ve just traveled on, you see, Up ahead where greener pastures grow And cool water streams dance as they flow.
Flowers in bloom of every sort and kind, Colors more vivid than any I left behind, Family and friends I haven’t seen in years, Hugs and handshakes and no more tears.
They’ve welcomed me home here today, A place of peace for me to stay, They say it’s my home for eternity; No, it’s not the end of the trail for me.
What can I say about Deb that you don’t already know? Not much. She was the first person to befriend me when I originally joined this forum two years ago. Starting out with exchanging PM’s on site, then moving on to emails to be on a more personal level, our friendship grew quickly. We shared many jokes, talked about each other’s family and friends, farming, country life, or sometimes even just about the weather.
I had the pleasure of meeting Deb and her partner Dean in person in the fall of 2007. They welcomed me into their home as if I were a long lost friend, and made me feel more welcome than family. I spent most of a day with them and wished I could have stayed longer, but prior commitments dictated my early departure from their hospitality. We continued to keep in regular contact with each other via emails and the occasional phone call. It was always good to hear her voice again.
She had a heart of gold as big as
I miss you already Deb. You got your wings now, and I hope you fly back to visit us. You now have the answers to so many of the questions that we have asked over the years. Ratbags said it best when she said, “you now walk in the truth of the paranormal”. Maybe you could share some of the answers with us sometime. : )
I’d like to dedicate this song in memory of our dear friend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbT7YGfpmG4
May you rest in peace Deborah Ann Foltz, a.k.a. Sunshine Deb. Mark Although I didn’t know Deb very well, I can see the reaction her passing has had on those close to her. She was always very friendly and

Every time I see a beautiful rose I will think of you.
kind to everyone that came on the board. She made everyone feel loved and respected. It is a great loss to have someone so caring, loving and strong
pass away with so much to give. I hope her family and friends are coping at this very sad time.
I will miss you Deb.

Deb
No nickname could have been more appropriate for you than "Sunshine Deb". You were the sunshine of the PDU. The one who always offered warmth, encouragement, support and a kind word. You were one of a kind and will be greatly missed by the many that your sunshine rays have reached.
R.I.P. Deb
Kim
My deepest sympathies to Dean, Angela and all those who held Deb close to their hearts.
