Post Help Navigating The Site
i thought that i would put up a help thread to help newer members navigate the site, as when you do join a new site, it is a abit daunting

*at the top left side of the page you will see view new posts (below site banner), that is helpful when you come to the site as it brings up all the posts made since your last visit

* to change the font of your post or the size, i have found the easiest way is to type out what you want, then highlight it all. then click on the font colour or font size. the whole post needs to be highlighted, you cant just click on the colour or font you want and then type. as it wont work

* Due to the high number of games in the games section and the amount of posts that can add to a post count fast, when you post in there, it does not count towards your post count.

* To request a reading in the develop your skills section, you need to have 40 posts and then pm a staff member for the password. Posting off topic comments or spamming to get the count up will not result in getting a reading. If you are not a regular member but have the 40 posts, you will not be allowed to request one until you come on site and contribute

*to add an avatar, go to user control panel, profile, edit avatar

* we have a chatbox, at the top of the page, there is a chatroom button, click that to be taken to a chat room

* To access the adults lounge, you need a password, please pm one of the staff members for it.

* Very old threads are often moved to the old thread forum at the bottom of the page.

* To post a reply to a thread, hit the reply button. To post a new thread hit the thread button. they can be found at the top or bottom of a post or forum.

* To post a picture in a thread there are two ways to do so - 1. Hit reply button to put the picture in thread that is already there or to start a new thread, click on the thread button, scroll down the page abit and you will see upload attachment and a box and then a browse button beside it.

Image

if you click browse, scan your pc for where you have the picture stored and then click on it.

Image

if its only one picture you want to upload then you will need to type some writting in the message body and then hit submit and your picture will be on the post. If you want to post more than one, after you have hit browse and selected the picture, you then click add the file, wait for it to upload and then click place inline. Once you have placed it on your thread (it will come up with a sentence not a picture until you post it), you then click browse and scan your pc for another picture. keep following those directions for each picture. Otherwise option 2 is you can upload the picture to photobucket or imageshack. here is a link to a thread helping you use it: viewtopic.php?f=214&t=909

that link will also help you post a picture in your signature section.

* You cannot see the webcam page button and chatbox unless you are logged into the website

*More to be added

the log out link and user control panel link are at the top of the page just above the red buttons that say chatroom/vote/donate/cam portal etc. should be just below where the ghost girl is walking at the top of the site

Dumb and Dumber have just joined your site Kel. I don't have it on my computer either. Nothing above the red button and nothing under the girl walking. I will go and sit and stare at it for a while, it has to be right under my nose.

Yes that fixed the problem. Mozilla Firefox does not work properly on the site and Internet Explorer does. Thank goodness the problem was solved, I was wondering about my sanity.

Post Re: Help Navigating The Site
I didn't know where to post this but a small suggestion if I may...

Links in posts that link to an external site seems to not start a new Tab. maybe it works differently in browsers that don't support multiple Tabs but it makes it easier to view an link to an external site and post at the same time while viewing the picture. There might be a setting the Administrator can adjust to start a new browser panel when clicking on a link.

Thanks
